A record number of exhibits delighted thousands of visitors to Beckman Institute Open House 2011, held March 11-12. The crowds were treated to the debut of Bert, the humanoid robot, the return of the virtual reality environments of Beckman's Illinois Simulator Laboratory, and many other scientific and fun displays during the two days.
