Professor Xiuling Li received her Ph.D. degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1993. After many years of academic research at Caltech and UIUC and industrial experience at EpiWorks, Inc., she joined the faculty of the UIUC Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in January of 2007. She is an affiliate faculty member of the Nanoelectronics and Nanomaterials group of Beckman Institute. Her research interests are in the area of III-V semiconductors from growth by metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD), to fabrication of nanostructures and applications in optoelectronics.
