Dr. Tettegah holds a degree in Educational Psychology from the University of California. She is a professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Psychology and a part-time faculty member in the Beckman Institute's Cognitive Neuroscience group. She is currently on leave from the University of Illinois. She is a Program Director at the National Science Foundation in the Division of Research on Learning in Formal and Informal Settings. Her fields of professional interest are educational applications of fMRIs, simulations and virtual reality environments.
