Martin Gruebele received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1988. He is a Professor in the U of I Departments of Chemistry, Physics and Center for Biophysics and a full-time faculty member in the Beckman Institute Nanoelectronics group. His fields of professional interest are the dynamics of complex chemical and biological systems, as studied by experimental laser and computational techniques.
