Sarah Brown-Schmidt received her Ph.D. in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester in 2005. She is an assistant professor of Psychology at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Her fields of professional interest are psycholinguistics, discourse analysis, language acquisition and cognitive science. In particular, Dr. Brown-Schmidt's research focuses on the mechanisms that support language processing during interactive conversation.
