Beckman Café renovation

Beckman Café renovation

The Beckman Café is closed for renovations

The Beckman Café has been a core part of the Beckman Institute from the beginning. Now, it's going through a complete renovation that will bring the space up to modern standards, and will offer ample opportunities for coming together over a meal or a cup of coffee.

Renovation timeline

The café closed in August for the full renovation, and is expected to reopen in fall or winter of 2024. While the café is closed, Beckman will offer coffee in the atrium.

What to expect

Features in the renovated café will include glass walls, bright and welcoming décor, and a standalone coffee shop.

You can grab a tall seat to do some work or connect with your research group on a comfy banquette. The café is adding a dining room you can reserve for a larger, more formal group. A chef will join the current café management team and will help update the menu.
